WhatsApp Calling
You can now leave a short voice or video message instantly when someone misses your call. You don’t need to open the chat separately. The app automatically offers the choice right after the missed call. This depends on whether it was a voice or video call.

Voice Chats
Reactions now work smoothly in voice chats. You can respond without interrupting the speaker. Think of it as giving a quick thumbs-up or “cheers” without stopping the conversation. Group video calls also get smarter. The interface now highlights the person currently speaking, making it much easier to follow conversations with many participants.
WhatsApp Status Becomes More Interactive
If you like posting on Status, this update gives you more tools to get creative. You can now add music lyrics, interactive question stickers, and other fun elements that encourage responses from your contacts.
Meta AI is stepping in here too. Its upgraded image generator is now powered by Midjourney and Flux technology. It enhances the look of your festival wishes, celebration posts, or greeting cards. One standout feature is the ability to turn any still photo into a short animated clip. You can share this clip in chats or directly on your Status.
Desktop App Upgrade & New Channel Features
WhatsApp’s desktop apps for Windows, Mac, and the Web have quietly been getting better. This update brings one of the most practical improvements yet. A redesigned media tab is now available. You can search through documents, photos, links, and videos from one place across all your chats.
